World Cup in Qatar: Red Devils to stay at Hilton Salwa in Abu Samra
Roberto Martinez opts for a stay in a seaside resort, far from the city.

It is now official. The contract has been signed by all parties. The Red Devils will not stay in Doha itself during the next World Cup in Qatar, but in Abu Samra, about 100 kilometres southwest of the capital.
At the Hilton Salwa, the Belgian delegation will have its own wing and can prepare for matches in peace and privacy.
The training conditions are perfect with several sports halls, an indoor swimming pool for post-match recovery and two new training pitches. The fact that these pitches are located within the complex made the choice of this base camp very easy.
Each player will have a spacious and very comfortable room overlooking the Persian Gulf. In addition, there are sufficient relaxation and meeting rooms, a private outdoor pool and a beach.
We are very pleased that we were able to find a base camp that will allow us to train without travelling on a daily basis. We were looking for that set up and the opportunity to have some good outdoors space, and that is the case in The Hilton Salwa.
- Roberto Martínez, National Coach
The hotel also meets the RBFA expectations on human rights. The Hilton Salwa has signed the human rights charter of the RBFA and has successfully passed the due diligence on human rights.
