UEFA Nations League: Red Devils calendar change in June

Belgium-Poland moved from 6 to 8 June, also new dates for away matches in June.

UEFA has decided that the World Cup play-off match between Scotland and Ukraine will be played on 1 June. This moves the Nations League home match of the Red Devils against Poland from 6 June to 8 June.

Due to the war in Ukraine, Ukraine's World Cup play-off match in Scotland, initially scheduled for 24 March, will be played on Wednesday 1 June. The winner of this match will face Wales in a second and decisive play-off match on Sunday 5 June. This means that Wales will play 5 matches in June instead of 4.

This has resulted in some drastic calendar changes in the Wales group, which also includes the Red Devils.

The opening match of the Red Devils against the Netherlands remains on Friday 3 June. The second match, at home against Poland, has been moved from Monday 6 June to Wednesday 8 June. The two away matches for the Belgians have been moved up a day.

Wales - Belgium moves from Friday 10 to Saturday 11 June and Poland -Belgium from Monday 13 to Tuesday 14 June.

The RBFA will inform the supporters of the Red Devils as soon as possible about what this means for the ticket sales and the organisation of travel to Wales and Poland.

New schedule

  • 3 June 20:45 - Belgium - Netherlands
  • 8 June 20:45 - Belgium - Poland
  • 11 June 20:45 - Wales - Belgium
