Piet Vandendriessche appointed CEO of RBFA
The RBFA board of directors this morning appointed Piet Vandendriessche as the football association's new CEO. Piet Vandendriessche takes over in mid-January from CEO ad interim Manu Leroy, who replaced Peter Bossaert, who was let go in March. The board would like to expressly thank Manu Leroy for his commitment during the transition period.
Piet Vandendriessche was chosen unanimously after a selection procedure led by headhunting firm Korn Ferry. Vandendriessche is 58 and has been the CEO of Deloitte Belgium for the past seven years. He is an experienced leader who brings people together and whose role it is to further develop the Football Association into a high-performing and cost-efficient organisation that will stand in the midst of its members, the amateur and professional clubs, and help them face the many challenges coming their way.

From 16 January 2024, Piet Vandendriessche will lead rhe RBFA as CEO.
