Settlement agreement between the RBFA and Peter Bossaert
The Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA) and its former CEO Peter Bossaert held calm and respectful discussions regarding the dismissal of Peter Bossaert. Both parties reached a successful agreement. The legal proceedings initiated by Peter Bossaert at the beginning of the year are now definitively closed.

The RBFA would like to thank Peter Bossaert for the valuable work he has done over the past few years. Under his leadership, the RBFA has transformed into a professional football association that is widely recognised at international level. Bossaert and his team have not only focused on the development of Belgian football, including women's football. They have also considerably simplified the RBFA's structure, based on the principles of good governance. The RBFA has made the fight against racism and discrimination in football a top priority whilst the opening of the new Proximus Basecamp, based in Tubize, now serves as an international benchmark for sporting facilities.
