Red Flames take on the Netherlands in Kerkrade on July 2

Our national women's team heads to the Netherlands for a match against the Orange Lionesses. The match will take place just across the border.

Our Red Flames' football season ends this year on July 2. Our national women's team will take on the Netherlands. The Derby of the Low Countries will take place at Roda JC's stadium in Kerkrade, just across the border from Belgium. Tickets for Belgian fans will be available from 11 April.

Our Red Flames could not qualify for the World Cup this summer but are getting an extension to their season with the match against the Netherlands in preparation for their next qualifying campaign. The Netherlands is a strong opponent who do participate in the World Cup later that month and offers a perfect preparation match for the Belgians heading into the Nations League.

The first edition of the Nations League starts in September, the draw will take place on 2 May.

Tickets for the Belgian stand can be purchased from 11 April on our ticketing platform. A ticket will cost 12.50 Euro.

The Netherlands were guests in Brussels two years ago for a friendly against our Flames. Back then, the Red Flames lost 1-6. Our Red Flames also met the Dutch at the 2017 European Championship, when the Belgians lost that match 1-2.
