Red Devils are ready for Tour of Belgium

First match in Genk against Ukraine, then in Brussels against Wales

The Red Devils go on tour! Driven by the ambition to bring the players closer to their supporters, the RBFA has decided to cross Belgium in 2025. In their quest to stay in League A, qualify for the 2026 World Cup and win back the hearts of Belgian football fans, the Devils will be playing their matches in different stadiums.

“The majority of the Red Devils play abroad, but we haven't forgotten where our careers took off: in Belgium. Just like our supporters, we come from all parts of Belgium. That's why we're delighted to meet up with them this year, as they will undoubtedly give us that extra boost to perform well. So, here's my message to the fans: come and cheer us on, we're counting on your support to beat Ukraine first and qualify for the World Cup second.”

– Romelu Lukaku

The first stop on this Devils tour will be in Limburg, where KRC Genk will be opening the stadium doors to the heroes of the national football team. On Sunday 23 March at 20:45, the Red Devils will host Ukraine in their Nations League play-off game. For a number of players, it will be a great reunion with the Genk crowd.

A great start to the Tour of Belgium, which will continue to travel across the country in 2025. Next year's World Cup qualifying campaign kicks off against Wales on Monday 9 June at 20:45 at the King Baudouin Stadium. Football in the capital: a tried and tested recipe, atmosphere guaranteed.

Tickets for both matches are now on sale.

The first two stages of the Tour of Belgium are now complete. On the road to the 2026 World Cup, the Red Devils will also play further home qualifiers in the autumn against Kazakhstan, North Macedonia and Liechtenstein. The stadiums where these matches will be played will be announced at a later date.

"We know from experience that the supporters always give the Red Devils a boost, pushing them forward on the pitch. So it is with great enthusiasm that we are touring Belgium this year, always looking for the support that can take our team to new heights. Because on the pitch and in the stands, our mission is the same: to give our all for 90 minutes. Together, we're stronger!

– Manu Leroy, Marketing & Communications director of the RBFA

"As regular supplier of young Belgian international players, KRC Genk has a close relationship with the Royal Belgian Football Association. Several former Genk players also represent our country's colours in the first team. We and our supporters look forward to welcoming our boys back to Genk on 23 March."

– Peter Croonen, president of KRC Genk
