RBFA sets up Task Force after dismissal of Peter Bossaert

Following the dismissal of Peter Bossaert as CEO, the Board's absolute priority is to monitor and maintain the continuity within the RBFA. Therefore, the Board has set up a Task Force that will support the RBFA management team as a whole in the coming weeks to continue its operations with them. The employees and the players are of course at the centre of this process. Chairman Paul Van den Bulck, Pascale Van Damme (independent board member), Marc van Craen (board member on behalf of Voetbal Vlaanderen), Philippe Godin (board member on behalf of ACFF) and Peter Willems (board member on behalf of the Pro League) are participating in that Task Force and will look for a CEO ad interim in the short term and a successor to Peter Bossaert in the longer term.

"After the dismissal of Peter Bossaert, we want to restore serenity and safeguard the continuity within the RBFA's administration. The RBFA management team, which has done a fantastic job together with the federation's staff in recent years, has our full support in this regard. In the meantime, we are working on a structural solution for the longer term in all tranquillity. And above all, we want the players and staff of the Red Devils to work in all serenity towards the important match against Sweden, which all of us, players, staff, fans, employees and the members of the Board of the RBFA are looking forward to."

- Paul Van den Bulck, chairman of the RBFA
