No fan village in Vilvoorde

A week before the Belgian Red Devils' first match at the World Cup, the Belgian Football Federation has decided not to build the fan village in Vilvoorde.

The RBFA will refund all fans who bought tickets in recent weeks. They will receive more information about this soon.

"As it was not possible for most fans to go to Qatar, we wanted to bring the World Cup to the fans. However, we sold far fewer tickets than hoped for and have to conclude that there is less enthusiasm for big-screen events compared to other years. It is therefore with regret that we have to pull the plug on the organisation of our fan village."
Manu Leroy, RBFA Marketing and Communications Director

The RBFA will of course follow the World Cup closely and, as for the 2021 European Championship, has its own reporters following the Belgian Red Devils 'behind the scenes'. Fans will be presented with new reports daily via the RBFA app.

"Our 3 in-house reporters will cover the daily activities of our Belgian Red Devils from Qatar: at the breakfast table, on the massage table, from training. The fans will get an insight into the life of our Devils at the World Cup. In addition, our scan and collect promotion will continue and young fans can have fun in our #DEVILTIME world in Roblox."
