From now on, the Red Devils and the Red Flames will train at the Proximus Basecamp
As part of the recent renewal of its partnership with the Royal Belgian Football Association, Proximus is proud to announce today several new initiatives designed to further boost the inspiring potential of our national soccer teams.

Proximus will therefore not only be associating its name with the national soccer centre in Tubize but also contribute to the development of the eDevils and become the official ICT partner of the RBFA.
At the beginning of the summer, Proximus announced the renewal of its partnership with the RBFA as a 'Top Premium Partner' for the next four years. This partnership is part of the company's new sponsorship strategy, putting more of a focus on new generations through innovative proposals that illustrate the brand promise 'Think Possible'.
Today, in the margin of the press conference where Roberto Martinez presented his squad for the upcoming matches with Denmark and Iceland, the RBFA and Proximus announced that the national soccer centre in Tubize will be renamed 'Proximus Basecamp'. This is where all the national teams (from youth to the Red Flames & Red Devils) will meet and train before each official match and tournament. Most home games of the national youth teams will also be organized at the Basecamp, some of which will be broadcast live on Proximus Sports channels. Finally, next summer, the Proximus Basecamp will be used as the Red Devils' base camp for EURO 2020.
With the construction of the Proximus Basecamp, the RBFA aims to create a high-performance environment for all teams and to become a reference among Belgian and European sports federations. As official ICT partner of the RBFA, Proximus will contribute its expertise, infrastructure and technologies, including fiber and 5G, to offer smart and sustainable solutions that allow players and staff to prepare in the best possible conditions while being permanently connected.
This new partnership also extends to the eDevils. Here too, as a main partner, Proximus will inject its expertise to help foster the development of national teams in the field of esports and discover new and young talent through the organization of competitions. The Proximus Basecamp will also include a training area that will be used by the eDevils to train, hone their skills and thus reach their full potential.
Finally, Proximus and the RBFA confirm their collaboration in the framework of the 'Love Football' project. Launched at the beginning of 2020 by the RBFA in collaboration with Proximus and ING, this project aims to encourage more girls to experience the magic and pleasure of soccer.
Manu Leroy, Director Marketing & Communication at RBFA: 'We announced at the beginning of July that we have extended our partnership with Proximus. In our renewed partnership, we are going to work even more closely together than before. We see Proximus as the ideal partner to further develop our Belgian Football Centre in Tubize on a technological level. That is why the Belgian Football Centre is now called the Proximus Basecamp.'
Jim Casteele, Chief Consumer Market Officer at Proximus: 'We are delighted to be able to associate our name with the Proximus Basecamp. The Red Devils and the Red Flames are two teams that perfectly embody the "Think Possible" spirit, by getting better at what they do every day and gathering everyone behind an ambitious goal. By supporting the youth and eDevils teams, we want to inspire new generations to pursue their dreams and passions. Our long-standing collaboration with the Royal Belgian Football Association is already a solid foundation, and I am convinced that we will write more great chapters of this success story together.'
