Collect the Red Devils' digital cards with Sorare

[Proximus Basecamp, Belgium], 22 November 2022: The RBFA announced today that it has renewed its partnership with Sorare, the global player-owned fantasy football game, to bring the Belgium national football team and its star players to the Sorare platform.

Sorare combines a free-to-play fantasy game with digital collectibles, bringing fans closer to the sports they love. Since it was founded in 2018, the company has experienced strong growth, reaching more than 2 million users around the world through collaborations with over 300 sports organisations.

By partnering with Sorare, the RBFA will open up ways for fans across the world to engage with the Belgium national team and their favorite players as they celebrate the start of the biggest tournament in world football, while also opening up a new revenue stream for the association through collectibles licensing.

The partnership means that fans will be able to collect, play with and engage with digital cards of stars from the national team in Sorare, including Romelu Lukaku, Kevin De Bruyne and Thibaut Courtois.

These digital cards will used as part of Sorare: Global Cup ‘22, a brand new free-to-play fantasy game on the Sorare platform, launched to coincide with the real world international winter period. Seventeen other major national teams are also partnering with Sorare to make their players available in Sorare: Global Cup ‘22.

Sorare: Global Cup ‘22 gives fans the chance to assemble a squad of their favorite international players for free, create private tournaments and compete with their friends from across the globe. Players will also be able to compete for prizes including real-life experiences with international football stars, VIP match tickets, Sorare merchandise and additional cards for their teams.
