The RBFA and adidas celebrate a defining moment in Belgian football history with the return of the 1986 Belgium home shirt, a one-to-one recreation of the iconic long-sleeve shirt worn at the 1986 World Cup in Mexico.
This reissue pays tribute to Belgium’s football legacy by bringing an iconic adidas Originals design back to the present for fans of football heritage.
Designed as an authentic reproduction of the original, the 1986 Belgium home shirt reflects the bold identity of mid-1980s football design. The unmistakable red base is combined with the classic adidas Trefoil logo, Belgian tricolour 3-stripes (black/yellow/red) on the sleeves, and a subtle woven geometric jacquard fabric that adds texture to the shirt. A timeless V-neck collar completes the design, staying true to the original look and feel.
