Futsal devils take on Ukraine, Poland and Serbia in elite round
The groups for the elite round for the futsal World Cup have been drawn. The Red Devils Futsal are in a group with Ukraine, Poland and Serbia. Group winners earn a ticket to the 2024 World Cup. Qualification can also be secured with a second place.
The Red Devils Futsal qualified for the elite round for the 2024 World Cup after a penalty shootout thriller against Hungary. Drawing lots put them in a group with Ukraine, Poland and Serbia.
The elite round consists of five groups of four countries each. The five group winners qualify directly for the final tournament. The top four runners-up will play for the final two World Cup tickets.
The futsal World Cup has been organised since 1989. The Red Devils Futsal have already participated three times. The last edition was won by Portugal.
